Flutter spoons are popular for bass fishing because of their unique action in the water. When you cast and retrieve or let them fall, they wobble and flash, mimicking an injured baitfish. This movement can attract larger bass that are looking for an easy meal. Many anglers use flutter spoons in open water or around structures where bass are likely to be hiding. Their size and weight options let you target different depths and conditions, making them a versatile choice for your tackle box.

Choosing the right size flutter spoon depends on the fish you're targeting and the water conditions.

• For larger bass or deeper water, a bigger and heavier spoon can help you reach the right depth and stand out.
• Smaller spoons are great for finesse presentations or when fish are feeding on smaller bait.
• Consider the rod and line you’re using, as heavier spoons need stronger gear.

Fishing with a flutter spoon is all about creating an enticing action.

1. Cast the spoon out and let it sink to your desired depth.
2. Use a lift-and-drop motion with your rod to make the spoon flutter as it falls.
3. Pause occasionally to let the spoon wobble naturally, which can trigger strikes.

Many flutter spoons are designed for versatility and can be used in both freshwater and saltwater environments.

• Check the product details to ensure the materials resist corrosion if you plan to fish in saltwater.
• Rinse your lure with fresh water after saltwater use to help maintain its condition.
