Choosing the right size fireproof wall safe depends on what you plan to store and where you want to install it. Here are a few tips:

• Measure your space: Check the wall cavity or area where you’ll mount the safe to ensure it fits.
• Consider storage needs: Think about items like documents, cash, jewelry, or electronics and make sure the interior is spacious enough.
• Allow for future growth: If you might add more valuables later, a slightly larger safe can offer flexibility.
• Check shelf and compartment options: Adjustable shelves or drawers can help organize your items efficiently.

Review product dimensions and installation requirements before making a decision.

Many fireproof wall safes are designed for DIY installation, but it’s important to review the manufacturer’s instructions first. Here’s what to keep in mind:

• Tools required: You’ll usually need basic tools like a drill, level, and measuring tape.
• Wall type: Make sure your wall can support the safe’s weight and that there are no electrical wires or plumbing in the installation area.
• Safety: If you’re unsure about cutting into walls or handling heavy items, consider hiring a professional for safe and secure installation.

Proper installation helps maximize the safe’s security features and fire resistance.

Fireproof wall safes are great for protecting a variety of valuables. Common items include:

• Important documents: Passports, birth certificates, and insurance papers.
• Cash and jewelry: Keep these items secure and hidden.
• Digital media: USB drives, external hard drives, and backup disks.
• Small electronics: Devices like cameras or watches.

Always check the safe’s fire rating and interior space to ensure it meets your storage needs.

Keeping your fireproof wall safe clean helps maintain its appearance and function. Here’s how you can do it:

• Exterior: Wipe the outside with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
• Interior: Remove items periodically and dust the inside with a dry cloth.
• Lock and keypad: Gently clean the keypad or lock area to prevent buildup that might affect operation.

Regular cleaning helps ensure your safe stays in good condition for years to come.

If you forget your fireproof wall safe’s code, don’t worry—there are usually backup options:

• Check for override keys: Many safes come with a set of emergency keys for manual access.
• Review the manual: The user guide often provides instructions for resetting the code or using backup access methods.
• Contact customer support: If you can’t locate your keys or reset instructions, reach out to the manufacturer’s support team for help.

Keep backup keys in a secure but separate location for peace of mind.
