Extra-long sofas at Walmart can measure up to 150 inches or more, especially in modular and U-shaped sectional styles. These oversized couches are designed for spacious living rooms and can seat large families or groups comfortably. When browsing, look for terms like "oversized," "modular sectional," or "U-shaped" in product descriptions. Make sure to measure your space before purchasing to ensure a good fit and consider delivery logistics for larger pieces. If you need even more seating, modular designs often let you add sections to customize the length further.

The 2/3 sofa rule is a simple guideline for choosing the right sofa size for your space. It suggests that your sofa should be about two-thirds the length of the wall it sits against or the area it’s meant to anchor. This helps create a balanced look and prevents the sofa from overwhelming the room. Before buying, measure your wall or main seating area and use this rule to narrow down your options for a comfortable and stylish fit.

Some couches are designed with materials that may be gentler on sensitive skin, such as those with soft, hypoallergenic fabrics like chenille or microfiber. Look for sofas with removable, washable covers to help keep allergens and irritants at bay. While these features can be helpful, individual needs may vary, so it’s a good idea to consult a medical professional for specific advice regarding eczema or other skin sensitivities. Always check product details for fabric information and care instructions.

Cleaning an extra-long sofa depends on the fabric type. For most upholstered couches, you can:

• Vacuum regularly using a brush attachment to remove dust and debris.
• Spot clean stains with a mild soap and water solution, testing a small area first.
• Use removable, machine-washable covers if available for deeper cleaning.
• Check the manufacturer’s care instructions for specific guidance.

For leather or specialty fabrics, use appropriate cleaners and avoid harsh chemicals. Regular maintenance can help keep your sofa looking fresh and extend its lifespan.
