Dove decoys can make your hunting setup more attractive to real doves by simulating natural movement and gathering spots. Spinning wing decoys mimic the fluttering of dove wings, which can catch the attention of passing birds. Placing decoys in visible areas, like open fields or near feeding spots, can encourage doves to fly closer. While results may vary, using decoys is a popular way to increase your chances of spotting and attracting doves during hunting trips.

• Choose an open area where doves are likely to fly or feed.
• Assemble the decoy tree according to the instructions provided with the product.
• Attach multiple decoys to the branches for a realistic look.
• Position the tree so it’s visible from above and not blocked by tall grass or brush.
• Spacing decoys apart can help mimic natural perching behavior.

Experimenting with placement and adjusting based on dove activity can help improve your setup.

Many dove decoys are compatible with rechargeable batteries, which can be a convenient and eco-friendly option. Before using rechargeable batteries, check the decoy’s instructions to confirm compatibility and recommended battery type. Rechargeable batteries may offer longer use between charges, but performance can depend on the brand and capacity. Always follow safety guidelines when charging and handling batteries to avoid damage or malfunction.

1. Remove the wings and any detachable parts.
2. Wipe down the decoy with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris.
3. Use mild soap if needed, but avoid harsh chemicals.
4. Let all parts dry completely before reassembling.

Regular cleaning can help maintain the decoy’s appearance and function, especially after use in muddy or dusty conditions.

Replacement wings are often available for spinning wing dove decoys. If you need new wings, check the product page or accessories section for compatible kits. Having spare wings can be helpful if originals become damaged or worn out. Always ensure replacements match your decoy model for proper fit and performance.
