Choosing the right size couch with storage depends on your living space and needs.

• Measure your room to ensure the couch fits comfortably, leaving space for walking and other furniture.
• Consider how many people will use the couch regularly.
• Check the dimensions of both the seating area and the storage compartments to make sure they meet your storage goals.
• Modular and sectional options can offer flexibility if your space or needs change over time.

Taking a few measurements before shopping can help you find a couch that fits your space and storage needs.

Couches with built-in storage are great for keeping your living area organized.

• Common items to store include extra blankets, pillows, board games, or seasonal decor.
• Some people use the space for books, magazines, or even small electronics.
• Removable ottomans with storage can be handy for toys or remote controls.

It's best to store lightweight, soft items to avoid damaging the storage compartment or the couch itself. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines for weight limits and care instructions.

Cleaning a storage couch is simple with a few steps:

1. Vacuum the surface and inside the storage compartments regularly to remove dust and crumbs.
2. Spot clean stains using a mild upholstery cleaner and a soft cloth, following the fabric care instructions.
3. For deeper cleaning, check if the cushion covers are removable and machine washable.
4. Keep the storage area dry to prevent mold or odors.

Always refer to the care label or product manual for specific cleaning tips based on the couch's material.

Most storage couches are designed for straightforward assembly at home.

• They typically come with clear instructions and all necessary hardware.
• Modular and sectional designs often feature pieces that click or bolt together, and storage ottomans may arrive fully assembled.
• Having a second person can make the process easier, especially for larger pieces.

If you prefer, Walmart offers assembly services in many areas for an additional fee, which can be added during checkout for extra convenience.

Moving a storage couch can be manageable, especially with modular or sectional designs.

• Many models allow you to separate sections or remove storage ottomans, making transport easier.
• Emptying the storage compartments before moving helps reduce weight and prevents damage.
• For tight spaces, measure doorways and hallways ahead of time to ensure the couch will fit through.

Using furniture sliders or asking for help can make the process smoother and help protect your floors and the couch.
