To keep your copper cup looking its best, hand wash it with mild soap and warm water. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the copper finish. After washing, dry the cup thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. If you notice tarnish, you can gently polish the cup with a mixture of lemon juice and salt, then rinse and dry.

• Hand wash only
• Use mild soap
• Dry immediately

Copper cups are generally designed for cold beverages, like cocktails or water. Using them for hot drinks isn't recommended because copper conducts heat quickly, making the cup hot to the touch and potentially uncomfortable to hold. Additionally, some copper cups may have linings to help with safety and taste, but always check the product details before using them for anything other than cold drinks. For hot beverages, consider using mugs specifically made for heat resistance.

Copper is an excellent conductor of temperature, which means it quickly takes on the chill of your cold drink and helps keep it cool.

• The metal transfers the cold from the beverage to the cup's surface
• This creates a refreshing, frosty feel
• It can enhance the drinking experience, especially for cocktails

Most copper cups are not recommended for dishwasher use. The high heat and detergents in dishwashers can cause the copper to tarnish or lose its shine. To help your cup last longer, it's best to wash it by hand with gentle soap and water. Always check the care instructions that come with your specific cup, as some may have special linings or finishes that require extra care.

The right size depends on how you plan to use your copper cup.

• For classic cocktails like Moscow Mules, 16-18 oz cups are popular
• Smaller cups (around 12 oz) work well for water or juice
• Larger options (20 oz or more) are great for those who prefer bigger servings
