Some Command products are designed for heavy-duty use, like the heavy duty picture hangers and XL heavyweight hooks that can support weights up to 20 lbs. However, it's important to check the weight rating listed on the packaging before hanging items like mirrors. Also, only attach Command hooks to clean, smooth surfaces, and avoid rough, uneven, or porous walls for optimal strength. Always follow the included instructions carefully for the most reliable performance.

• Start by gently holding the hook or hanger in place.
• Slowly pull the adhesive tab straight down, stretching it parallel to the wall rather than outwards.
• This action releases the adhesive bond, minimizing the risk of paint damage.
• Command strips are designed to come off cleanly if you follow this method, but always test a small spot if paint is fragile or very old.

For additional guidance, refer to the product's removal instructions included in the packaging.

Yes, several Command products are specifically designed for use in bathrooms and other damp spaces. Bath multi-hooks, towel hooks, and water-resistant refill strips are built to hold up in humid conditions when installed as directed on non-porous surfaces like tile, glass, or painted drywall. To help them perform well, make sure the surface is dry and clean before installation. Avoid placing hooks directly in areas of running water.

Most Command hooks can be reused, but you'll need new adhesive strips to get them back up securely. Replacement strips are available in various sizes and styles, including water-resistant ones for bath products. Just clean the hook and your chosen surface well, apply the fresh strip, and follow the installation instructions. Always match strip size to your hook for optimal strength.

• Command hooks work best on clean, smooth surfaces like painted walls, tile, glass, wood, and metal.
• Avoid rough, textured, or porous surfaces such as brick, wallpaper, or stucco, as adhesion may not be as strong.
• Before sticking, always clean the area with rubbing alcohol and let it dry completely.

Following these tips helps improve long-term adhesion and supports safe use in your home.
