Ordering catering trays online is simple and convenient. Just visit Walmart's catering ordering page, browse the selection of party trays, sandwich platters, and sides, and add your favorites to your cart. During checkout, you can choose your preferred pickup time and location. Tip: It's a good idea to order a few days in advance, especially for larger gatherings, to help ensure availability and smooth pickup.

Many catering trays offer options for customization. When selecting a tray, look for choices to pick different meats, cheeses, or sandwich types. If you have specific requests or dietary needs, you can often add notes during the ordering process or contact your local Walmart Deli directly.

To keep catering orders fresh, Walmart stores typically prepare trays close to your scheduled pickup time and keep them refrigerated. When transporting your order, use insulated bags or coolers if you have a long drive. Once home, refrigerate items until you’re ready to serve. For hot items, consider picking them up as close to your event time as possible for the best experience.

Many catering orders include basic disposable utensils and napkins, but it’s always a good idea to double-check the product description or ask your local store. If you need extra supplies, Walmart offers a variety of disposable cutlery, plates, and napkins that you can add to your order for convenience.

For the best selection and to help ensure your order is ready on time, it’s recommended to place catering orders at least 24-48 hours in advance. Larger events or custom trays may require more notice. You can check specific lead times on the product page or by contacting your local Walmart Deli. Planning ahead helps make your event stress-free!
