When people talk about a "big cup," they usually mean a drinking vessel with a larger capacity than standard cups or mugs. Big cups can range from oversized coffee mugs to large tumblers and water bottles, often holding 20 ounces or more. They're great for keeping drinks hot or cold longer and are perfect for anyone who wants fewer refills throughout the day. Whether you’re looking for a travel mug, a soup mug, or a tumbler for workouts, a big cup offers convenience and versatility for busy lifestyles.

The size of a "large cup" can vary, but most big cups found in stores hold between 20 and 40 ounces. Some extra-large tumblers and mugs even go up to 64 ounces for those who need maximum hydration or want to enjoy a big serving of coffee, tea, or soup.

• Standard mugs: 10–16 oz
• Large mugs/tumblers: 20–40 oz
• Extra-large tumblers: 40–64 oz

A big cup can go by several names depending on its style and use. You might see it referred to as a jumbo mug, oversized tumbler, large soup mug, or travel cup. Tumblers are especially popular for keeping drinks at the right temperature, while jumbo mugs are great for coffee, tea, or even soup. The name often reflects the cup’s intended purpose and size, so look for terms like "large," "big," or "extra-large" when shopping.

Big cups, especially insulated tumblers with secure lids, are a smart choice for travel.

• They keep drinks hot or cold for longer periods.
• Many have spill-resistant or leak-proof lids for safety.
• Handles and straws make them easy to use on the go.

Cleaning a big cup is simple, but it’s important to follow the right steps for lasting performance.

1. Rinse immediately after use to prevent stains or odors.
2. Use warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or bottle brush.
3. Pay attention to lids, straws, and handles—these can trap residue.
4. Check if your cup is dishwasher-safe; if so, place it on the top rack.
