Start by measuring your table. Then match those measurements to the sizes listed on each product page. You’ll see common options like 13 x 36 in, 13 x 50 in, 13 x 70 in, and extra-long fabric styles around 118 in.

1. Dining tables: Many people prefer a runner that’s a bit shorter than the table so ends stay clear, especially with heavier glass-beaded styles.
2. Coffee/console tables: A 13 x 36 in accent often works well centered.
3. Layering: Place over a tablecloth for flexibility in length and look.

Dimensions and materials are listed in the item details, so double-check before you add to cart.

Beaded runners are usually delicate, so gentle care helps preserve the beads and backing.

• Check care info: Review the product description for material guidance (glass beads, tulle, organza, silk blends, etc.).
• Spot clean: Use a soft cloth, mild soap, and cool water. Blot—don’t scrub—to avoid loosening beads or threads.
• Avoid machines: Machine washing and drying can damage beads and embroidery.
• Dry flat: Lay it flat on a towel to air-dry; avoid heat.
• Storage: Store flat or gently rolled with tissue paper to reduce creasing.

Test any cleaning method on a small, hidden area first, as results can vary by material and construction.

Beaded table runners are primarily decorative. Backing fabrics (like tulle, organza, or silk blends) and beads aren’t designed to act as trivets.

• Use protection: Place hot cookware on trivets, placemats, or chargers instead of directly on the runner.
• Warm plates: Brief contact with moderately warm plates may be fine, but it’s best to protect the surface to reduce heat and moisture exposure.
• Spills: Wipe up liquids promptly to help prevent staining or loosening threads.

Checking the item’s care notes can provide additional guidance based on its specific materials and construction.

It depends on your table finish and the runner’s backing. A few simple steps can help reduce risk.

• Protect the surface: Use a tablecloth or a thin table pad under the runner, especially on delicate finishes.
• Add grip: If the backing is smooth, place small non-slip pads or a thin strip of shelf liner at the corners or center.
• Handle gently: Lift the runner to reposition—don’t drag it across the table.
• Consider weight: Heavier, glass-beaded styles may shift less; lighter styles may need more grip.

If you’re unsure, test on a small area first to see what works best for your surface.

Some styles are described for indoor/outdoor decor on the product page, but most beaded runners still benefit from gentle handling.

• Use in covered spaces: Place them on sheltered surfaces to limit sun and moisture exposure.
• Avoid rain: Water can affect threads, backing fabrics, and bead finishes.
• Mind the wind: Anchor with a centerpiece or use discreet non-slip pads to help keep it in place.
• Clean and store dry: After use, brush off dust and store flat or rolled.

Always check the item description for any indoor/outdoor notes and care guidance specific to its materials.
