Choosing the right spawn net size depends on the bait you're using and your fishing goals. Smaller nets (like 3" x 3" squares) are great for compact bait sacs, while larger nets (such as 4" x 24' rolls) offer flexibility for bigger baits or custom shapes. Consider the species you're targeting and how much bait you want to present. If you're unsure, starting with assorted sizes can help you experiment and find what works best for your fishing style.

Absolutely! Spawn nets are versatile and can be used with a variety of bait types, including eggs, liver, and soft bait.

• Eggs: Wrap them securely for salmon or trout fishing.
• Liver: Keeps the bait together and prevents mess.
• Soft bait: Helps maintain shape and makes handling easier.

To tie bait sacs, place your bait in the center of a spawn net square, gather the edges, and twist them together. Secure the bundle with thread or a rubber band.

1. Lay out the net flat.
2. Add bait in the middle.
3. Pull corners up and twist.
4. Fasten tightly to keep bait secure.

To keep your spawn net in top condition, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Keep precut squares in a resealable bag.
• Rolls can be kept in their original packaging.
• Make sure the net stays clean and free from moisture.

Spawn nets are generally designed for single-use, especially after contact with bait and water. Reusing them may affect their strength and cleanliness. If you want to reuse, rinse the net thoroughly and inspect for any damage. However, for best results and hygiene, it's recommended to use fresh netting each time you prepare bait sacs.
