Command Strips for Picture Hanging(307)

Command strips come in a range of sizes and strengths, so the weight they can hold depends on the specific type you choose.

• Small strips typically hold up to 4 lbs.
• Medium strips can handle around 10 lbs.
• Large strips support up to 15 lbs.
• Heavy-duty options may hold up to 20 lbs.

Always check the packaging for the exact weight limit and make sure your item doesn't exceed it. For heavier items, consider using multiple strips or choosing a heavy-duty version for added support.

Command strips are designed to make hanging pictures easy and damage-free. They use strong adhesive to hold frames securely without nails or screws.

• They're best for smooth, clean surfaces like painted walls, glass, or finished wood.
• Choose the right strip size for your picture's weight.
• Follow the instructions for proper application and removal.

While results can vary based on surface and weight, many customers find command strips a convenient solution for decorating without leaving holes.

If your command strips aren’t sticking, there could be a few reasons:

• The surface might be dusty, oily, or textured. Clean it with rubbing alcohol and let it dry.
• Humidity or temperature can affect adhesion—avoid applying strips in damp or cold conditions.
• Press firmly for the recommended time to activate the adhesive.

Strips work best on smooth, dry surfaces. If you’re still having trouble, double-check the instructions and try a new strip for better results.

Heavy-duty command strips are the strongest options available, designed to hold up to 20 lbs. These are ideal for larger frames, mirrors, or heavier décor.

• Look for strips labeled as "heavy duty" or those with higher weight ratings.
• Always match the strip size and strength to your item’s weight.

Using multiple strips can also help distribute weight more evenly. Be sure to follow the instructions for maximum holding power.

Command strips are intended for one-time use. Once removed, the adhesive won’t stick as effectively if reapplied.

• For new projects, use fresh strips to ensure a secure hold.
• Some products offer refill packs so you can reuse hooks or hangers with new adhesive strips.

Reusing old strips may result in weaker adhesion and could cause items to fall. Always use new strips for best results and safety.
