Start with your wall space, then work backward.

• Measure the spot: Note width, height, and any nearby fixtures (like mirrors or towel bars). Leave a few inches of breathing room around the sign.
• Check the product dimensions: Common options on this page include 4x18-inch slim signs, 8x12-inch metal plaques, and larger unframed prints (e.g., 16x20 inches or more).
• Consider viewing distance: Narrow signs work well on doorways or shelves; larger prints suit open walls.
• Mock it up: Use painter’s tape to outline the size before you buy.
• Orientation and weight: Confirm horizontal vs. vertical layout and approximate weight to match your hanging method.

These steps can help you pick a size that fits your space without overwhelming it.

It depends on the material and finish noted in the listing.

• Metal (aluminum/tin): Many metal signs can work in covered outdoor areas. Aluminum typically resists rust better than steel. Tin or iron may develop rust if exposed to rain.
• Coatings & inks: Look for terms like “outdoor safe” or “weather-resistant.” UV-protected finishes can help reduce fading.
• Placement tips: A porch or patio with some protection often extends the sign’s life. Direct sun and heavy rain may shorten durability.
• Hardware: Use stainless-steel screws or weather-rated adhesive for exterior use.

Always review the item description for indoor/outdoor guidance, as materials and finishes can vary by product.

Choose a method that matches the sign’s weight and your wall type.

1. Pre-drilled holes: Use small screws; add drywall anchors if there’s no stud. For tile or brick, masonry anchors are advisable.
2. No holes: Consider heavy-duty picture-hanging strips for lighter pieces. For heavier signs, use a frame, cable system, or drill carefully to add mounting points.
3. Protect walls: Add clear rubber bumpers to corners to prevent rattling and scuffs.
4. Leveling: Mark lightly with painter’s tape and check with a level before installing.

These approaches can help you mount securely without over-committing to one spot, but always follow any instructions included with the product.

Many items on this page offer personalization, while others are standard designs.

• Look for “custom” in the title: Listings may allow names, locations, or phrases (e.g., a family name on a kitchen sign).
• Use the personalization box: Enter text exactly as you want it (spelling and capitalization) and review character limits.
• Processing time: Personalized pieces may take longer to make. Check estimated delivery and any proofing steps.
• Returns: Customized items often have different return policies; review the item page for details.

You can also check shipping and pickup availability at checkout to choose what works best for your timeline.

Care varies by material. A quick check of the item page and care label is always helpful.

• Metal signs: Dust with a microfiber cloth. For smudges, use a damp cloth with mild soap; dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasives that can scratch finishes.
• Unframed paper prints: Use a soft, dry duster. Framing under glass or acrylic can help protect from moisture and UV.
• Towels and blankets: Wash on a gentle cycle with similar colors; avoid bleach; tumble dry low. Follow any specific care tag guidance.
• Mugs: Check the listing for dishwasher/microwave details. When uncertain, handwash with a soft sponge to preserve the design.

Proper care can help maintain color and finish over time, but results may vary with use and environment.
