Choosing a science kit depends on your child's age, interests, and skill level. Look for kits labeled with age recommendations to ensure they're safe and engaging. If your child loves building or exploring, a solar rover or illusion maker might be a hit. For younger kids, simpler kits with easy-to-follow instructions are ideal.

• Check for clear instructions and included materials.
• Consider themes that match your child's curiosity, like space, motion, or light.
• Read product descriptions for any adult supervision requirements.

Exploring different kits can help spark a lifelong love of learning!

Proper storage helps keep outdoor toys in good shape.

• After playtime, wipe toys with a damp cloth to remove dirt or grass.
• Let them dry completely before storing to prevent mold or mildew.
• Use a storage bin or a dedicated shelf in your garage or shed to keep everything organized and easy to find.
• For toys with batteries or lights, remove batteries if you won’t use them for a while.

Storing toys indoors during extreme weather can also help them last longer.

Many of these toys are designed for both solo and group play.

• Sports sets, like ball sets and catch gloves, are great for playing with friends or family.
• Light-up skip balls and pull-back train sets can be shared, encouraging teamwork and social skills.
• Some science kits can be used together, letting kids collaborate on experiments.

Group play can make activities more fun and help kids learn to share and cooperate.

For toys with electronic components, it’s important to avoid getting them wet.

• Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface.
• If needed, lightly dampen the cloth with water (no harsh cleaners) and avoid any openings or battery compartments.
• Remove batteries before cleaning to prevent damage.

Always let the toy dry completely before putting the batteries back in. Following these steps can help keep electronic toys working well.

Replacement pieces for toys may be available, but it depends on the specific item.

• Check the product packaging or instructions for information about replacement parts.
• You can also visit Walmart’s website and search for the toy’s name to see if accessories or parts are listed.
• If you’re unsure, reach out to Walmart’s customer service for help.

Keeping track of small parts and storing them together can help prevent loss in the future.
