How often do I need to clean my baby's bottle?
To ensure the health of your baby, their bottle should be cleaned after every feeding to make sure no germs or bacteria will grow since both breast milk and formula can create an environment for bacteria growth after sitting for more than two hours.
How do I know if I cleaned my baby's bottle well enough?
Start by taking apart the bottle and soaking all pieces in warm, soapy water. Wash all pieces separately to make sure each piece is thoroughly cleaned. To clean the nipple, use a baby bottle brush that has warm, soapy water on it. Brush the inside of the nipple, then, once cleaned, squeeze and rinse it out to flush out all milk and soap residue. Let all pieces air dry before next use.
How do I clean my baby bottle brush?
Many brush brands will come with a set of care instructions, so be sure to read those. Many brushes are dishwasher safe and can be placed and washed in the dishwasher. If you brush is not dishwasher safe, you can wash it in warm soapy water and sanitize it by boiling it or soaking it in bleach. Always refer to the specific manufacture instructions.
