This toy is great! Sturdy and seems durable enough for child play. The books are great and the overall system is easy to use and was easy for my child to catch on how to operate it . Seems to havenmore options for books online than in store . Great educational gift for a little one . The product has been provided by VTech/LeapFrog free of charge so I could experience it with my family; however, the thoughts and opinions are all my own.

My grandson, age 3, loves this. With the addition of the many books I bought, it provides hours of fun!

This is a great way to teach children to listen to instructions & learn with excitement. A great and fun way for a child to learn reading, writing numbers etc.

I Purchased this product because my daughter is about to be 3yrs old and I want her to start learning how to read. I like the many options they have in books. So far my daughter likes it, will have to see how everything goes.

Got this for my Grandson who is grade one and in French Immersion. Since he had no French background we though it would help him and so far it is assisting him.

LeapStart Connect is really difficult to connect to if you have a new computer or a new version of Windows. This makes it hard to actually download the books you buy. Leapfrog IT service is mediocre, you just have to keep disconnecting and reconnecting until eventually it makes it through.

I had one of these as a child growing up and I absolutely loved it so I figured my 3 year old would love it too. It turned on for about 3 days but as soon as i plugged it in my computer to register the device, it bugged out. It made a long ringing sound and hasn't worked since. Initially I thought it was dead but I changed the batteries and when I clicked the power button it would flash but I would not get further response. Overall - WHAT A WASTE OF MY MONEY!!!

They aren't limit the old ones. Now you have to download everything on them. Back in the days they were ready to use when you open them.

Useful but you have to constantly keep buying the books. We unfortunately didn't realize that you had to get the book in the same language as the gadget.

you have to have internet connection in order to start using a book. This device only has enough memory for five books The book it comes with is basically a demo of the books you can additionally purchase. The 3D is a joke. I will be returning this product.
