I did not know it used batteries . It plugs straight into my phone I purchased a “pig tail” dongle to protect the device. Best Buy carries an Apple usb female to usb short cable that works perfectly. Glad I bought this. It works great ! Easy registry software !

This was a replacement for my original one that was lost. It is reliable and tough. Definitely dependable and worth the price.
