Great price for great diced tomatoes

I keep these and the 28 oz cans on hand because they are so versatile and add great flavor and texture to my soups, stews and sauces without adding any extra seasonings or water, the juice they are packed in is perfect, not too thick or to watery, it adds flavor but not too much fluid. The price is really a bonus too MUCH less than brand names and still a great flavor

These are good tomatoes at a fraction of the cost of name brands! There is absolutely no difference in taste or texture, I use these for so many different things, even on top of a salad from time to time! Even the juice is good to drink when the tomatoes run out.

Makes great gaspacho for the hot weather.

Saute some chopped onion, celery and green pepper and let it cool before adding to the chilled tomatoes (just put the cans in the fridge a few hours ahead of time). Add a splash of lemon for brightness and a bit of chopped chilies (your choice depending on how spicy you like it).
