Very much satisfied with the printer

First of all, I was a little confused by the negative feedback about the connectivity and so on. I'm a software QA manager, so just bought it to give it a try. An important thing to note: If you're not technical enough to understand the purpose of cloud computing and cloud-based devices, you get confused with this printer setup. But that has tremendous benefits and importantly the Instant Ink service is even better to have with a printer. You also get the paper ordering option too which ships your papers before you run out. Connectivity: Works perfectly as it mentions and has no issues. Printing/Scanning: Works great. No issues. Overall: This is a great printer and you will save a lot on Inks if you understand the InstantInk plan. Mobile printing/Scanning/Fax are great with the cloud services. You can use your mobile to print, scan, and send fax from anywhere.

Finally a good printer!

My old HP died (bad printer head). Tried at least 2 more before I got this HP Deskjet 4175e. It was a snap to install (I'm 76 years old) and I can now print from my desktop computer or my cell phone. And it was $60 cheaper than the one I got at BestBuy which I had to return because my internet would not recognize the model no. Love this one and it's working like a charm.

Efficient Printer at an Economical Price

After researching and reviewing printers, I decided to purchase this one online. The price was very reasonable for the features needed, a simple at home printer to connect wireless to my smartphone without a computer. The set up took under 15 minutes using the downloaded hp app. It was very easy to follow the directions. I'm not tech savvy but old school. This is the first time I set up a printer like this, usually done with software discs. Per the included manual you have to set it up via your phone initially if there's tape over the USB port. Mine had it. The features are easy to use. The included cartridges were easy to install. There are 2 scan buttons, color or black, on the printer too. The paper was easy to load. I shut off my printer and unplug it when not in use. Just make sure the wireless printer is near your device. So far, so good.
