[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my MB1050 for5 years now. I've smoked dozens of pork butts, several racks of pork ribs, plenty of chicken and a few turkeys. It is also great for steaks and burgers and hot dogs. I really like that for the long cooks just fill the hopper and set the temperature and leave it for several hours. The app for mobile phones is also a big help to check on it from a distance. The 1050 has been a great product and my favorite grill/smoker that I have owned in my 62 years.

It is easy to clean and easy to start up and be ready to either grill or smoke in less than 20 minutes. Plus with the ability to block off the firebox you save charcoal from cook to cook using only what is needed. Plus being able to add wood chucks to hopper makes for fabulous smoked meats. I have done continuous low and slow smokes for 16 hours on a single load of charcoal. See some samples as shown in included photos
