Not the brightest but certainly great

I did not have high expectations besides a large screen but after setting it up I was shocked at the quality. the screen can be brighter and the colors could be better (after tooling with the settings I got it looking great) If you have the know-how then this is an excellent choice.

Good value, even if it's missing a power cord

This was a good monitor for the price. We were happy enough that we got a second one. If you read the other reviews, you'll see that it may or may not come with the power cord to connect the power supply to the wall outlet. Our luck was 50/50 (first with, second without), but it was still a good value even after an extra $6 to get the power cord. The power cord end you'll need is called a C5 (aka IEC320 C5 or just IEC C5 for easier searching). For American outlets, the the wall outlet end is called a NEMA 1-15P.

I love MSI!

Ignore the bad reviews. Everything you need is in the box. It also comes with an HDMI cable. I had an extra Display Port cable laying around, so I used that instead. There's a red button on the back of the monitor that lets you adjust the brightness, contrast, etc. I bought this as a 2nd monitor for a dual setup, but it's good enough to be the primary. I love MSI!
