MSI Optix G272 27" Full HD LED Gaming LCD Monitor - 16:9

I did not have high expectations besides a large screen but after setting it up I was shocked at the quality. the screen can be brighter and the colors could be better (after tooling with the settings I got it looking great) If you have the know-how then this is an excellent choice.

I read over the other reviews and I believe there may have been some confusion for the people leaving bad reviews. I saw some said they didn't receive the second half of the cable but I'm wondering if they simply didn't remove the entire monitor from the box because the second half of the cable was in the bottom. Also saw some that said they weren't getting 120fps or the picture quality was terrible. I personally bought this for my xbox series x. The xbox was set to 60fps by default prior to buying the monitor. I had to go into my xbox settings and change it to 120fps which then allowed me to change it to 120fps on the monitor. As for the picture quality I'm guessing they selected game mode in the monitor settings and set it to FPS because under FPS the picture was quite terrible I switched it to racing from fps and picture was as it should be. It's an okay excellent monitor for the price. Checked all of my boxes and super easy to set up. Side note for anyone who plans to use Astro A40's w/mixamp make sure when buying the audio converter for your optical cable to purchase one that runs at 60hz because your hdmi will run from xbox to converter and then to monitor so you won't get 60 fps unless your adapter runs at 60hz. Also make sure you purchase an hdmi 2.0 as anything lower will not offer 60fps. Hope this helps everyone else!
