First Large Star Wars Build

This was my first large Star Wars build as well as large build overall. Gotta say, aside from some minor repetitive spots the end result was well worth it. I've been wanting this one for some time and finally tracked on down! This set is based on the iconic Landspeeder Luke Skywalker rides on in Episode IV: A New Hope. While I don't play with any of the sets I build it's still a joy just to look at and makes for an impressive showpiece to this who see it in my office. Nicely weighted and the included minifigs are fantastic! I just wish they printed the information decal rather than it being a sticker.

a very nice model but with silly design choices

What's the go with the weak engine mounts? this is the only part I will say is a disappointment to this set, it is such a cool set but the engines sag due to three pins holding up the right hand side engine and a very weak design for the centre engine, other than that, so good

Great fun to build. Looks amazing

New to building Lego. Came to it after having a heart attack and I find doing these really therapeutic. Building was straight forward but I didn't do it as quickly as some on here. I wanted to take my time and enjoy. Don't see what the hurry is tbh. Took a while to get to me but that's because Lego was inundated with orders due to May the Fourth. Love the look of it. It is much bigger than I thought it was gonna be but that allows more detail. Ordering some more in the future definately.
