Zefal Little Big Air Universal Foot Floor Pump (Bikes Tires, Balls, Portable, 80 Psi Capacity, 1.15 lb)

I received this air pump for free in exchange for my honest-to-goodness review. My child has more bicycles than he knows what to do with—hand-me-down bicycles, which means a few dry rotted tires and tubes. That being said, it's a pain in the boot to lug out an air compressor, and we have all sizes from pancake to industrial. So, when I had the chance to try out something that my son could use by himself, I jumped on it. This little pump is pretty solid. I'm impressed with it's quality feel. It completely folds up for easy storage and everything clips onto itself for safekeeping. The size is about the size of garden tool (see picture for reference). The only two qualms I have with the pump are that 1) it does have a tendency to wobble when pumping using the foot, which it's designed for. One just has to be careful to not get carried away with trying to pump something too quickly or the apparatus will keel over on you. 2) the locking mechanism on the hose is pretty difficult to engage and disengage for my child. It takes some "oomph." But, once he got used to exactly how to do it, it was more manageable, but could be difficult for some people. One funny note is that the pump makes a cute train noise when the pedal is depressed while not hooked up to a tire or ball. We had a lot of fun just making noises with it. Overall, I can certainly recommend this pump. It's convenient, easy to use, and a great value.
