Storage cabinet was easy to assemble and move into location. This gun safe is good for starting out and our holding ever day use items. Key lock seems to work fine. It does work for the intended purpose of storing items. Bolting to the wall would prevent easy walk off. Not sure of the fire rating was not purchased to based on that alone. Safe is metal and not that thick. Works well for beginning your collection .

Perfect for my needs

Great value for the money. This is exactly what I wanted: a basic, cheap safe so that my guns aren't stored in the open where curious kids could potentially get to them. Assembly took about 45 minutes. Everything came together nicely. My only complaint is that that big sticker in the front is near impossible to remove. Otherwise, it's a good buy.

I got as a gift for husband. He had a very hard time putting together until watching a video. We were unable to purchase in our store in a large city but in the small town we moved from it was put together in a box at the store. He is 70 and put together many things but paper directions were not clear to him. If you buy watch video, also some of the rifles were shorter making the fit in slots difficult but works.
