Anchor Hocking Silver Glass with Lid Penny Candy Glass Jar, A Practical Choice for Pantry Jar Storage and Display

This is a sturdy (thick glass) candy container, although I'm not using it for candy. Considering how poorly it was packed and delivered to my brick entrance way by tossing like a foot ball, it somehow survived. I bought a larger size than necessary for my needs but I could have done with a smaller one. One gripe, the lid is made of tin. It feel cheap and has no serious "seal" to it, it's more of a set it and forget it lid.

Large old fashion glass with metal lid candy dish. Pleasantly surprised by the large size and the quality. Reminds me of the old fashion, penny candy stores. This would be great for cookies as well. Yes, it's that large. I like to keep treats on hand for the grandkids so this is gonna be there a jar. Not only candy but, granola bar, fruit snack packets, Debbie cakes this is large enough to handle some decent size snacks. Should not have expected less from anchor hocking. It's a good brand. Was delivered in petfect condition
