The good: The small size is what I wanted. Didn’t have to pay much. Does the job. The bad: the vent hole plug breaks off easily. It is bowed upward in the middle so draining goes around the edges. Can make it messy when you have hot oil coming out quickly.

It seems well thought out but when I pulled the oil plug in my car, it was just too small to really catch the oil without it splattering all over the driveway. Eventually I could the Goldilocks position to prevent the mess but it has to be “just right” not to splatter everywhere. I think this is in part due to the design which leads to convex surface which the oils falls on. If it was concave, there would be less issue. Make sure you have some cardboard Uber your workspace to catch the splatter or better yet, also buy an oil pan with more surface area.
