These pens, in bold ink, are my very %231 black pens to use for all kinds of art mediums and writing jobs. And have been for tpat least the last 15 to 20 yrs. They are smooth, dry fast, and feel solid in your hand. I highly recommend these pens for all types of work and desk work. What is super nice about them, is that you can see how much ink you have left, and anticipate when it will be time to grab a new one. They really feel good in your hand and arent too heavy, as to give your hand a cramp. And they are great for outlining things you've painted or drawn, and for map making and font work. This was a new item for me...I had never tried the bold....I relly love the fine points and have been using them for years....I wanted to see what the difference really was and ther is one....It has a smoother writing experience... not to mention its wider and more legible especially for those of us that have vision problems...

I love these Pilot G2 pens! They are very comfortable to hold, even when I'm writing for a long time. The ink writes smoothly and comes out dark and even without skipping.
