HORI Nintendo Switch D-Pad Controller (L) - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Edition

I love Legend of Zelda designs but hadn't found it in a Joy Con design I liked. Bought this to replace Neon Yellow Joy Con with the knowledge that it it is for D-Pad specific games. I also knew that it wasn't for Rhythm games. Once unboxed, I found the design nicer/crisper than I expected. The weight is lighter than standard Joy Cons and the Joy Con is slightly see-through and smoky gray-black. The controller sped up my D-Pad game play and I was surprised to find that the thumb stick was nimble enough to finish off the final levels of a favorite tactical game. The thumb stick isn't as nimble as regular Joy Cons but definitely usable. Just for fun, I tried it on the rhythm game Trombone Champ and the thumb sticks/D-Pad could control the screens and did allow the slide to move up and down, but was very sticky to the point of being mostly unplayable. I'm really enjoying this controller and would recommend with the understanding that, as per the description, it does not have motion control capabilities.
