I did a lot of looking and reading about air fryers before I bought. The most negative thing I found was that most of them had a plastic smell. So, the first thing I did after unboxing and washing the basket and insert, was to put a small bowl with a tablespoon of lemon a tablespoon of vinegar into basket and ran it on 400 for 4 minutes, that helped a little, so I ran the fryer empty for 20 minutes on 400 (twice), I could really smell the plastic as it heated up. Opened all the window and had my stove fan running as I did this. Then I doubled up on the lemon

love it! i did a lot of research on brands before purchasing this. works fabulous! super easy to set the temperature and which mode you want. There's a little helpful guide on the side of the fryer and a little booklet. Im sure as time goes on and the more often I use it I can feel more comfortable just winging it. Only downside to this is I wish the basket was bigger. I can put about 3 peices of fish ir chicken in tbe basket. I do a lot of meal prepping so it can take me awhile. However the food has tasted great and its extremely easy to use. plus its quiet. Definitely recommend!

Good price and return policy
It's a Christmas gift. So all I can say is the price was good compared to what I found anywhere else and that Wal Mart has a return policy for this for after the holidays should there be any problems. I have a Ninja blender, Ninja pressure cooker, Ninja air fryer/oven and Ninja air fryer XL toaster over/air fryer and all have been great so far. Hoping this one will be, too, for the person I am gifting it to.
