They are great for having a backup set, entertaining kids or friends at a BBQ, or just to use in general. I've actually found myself using them for our dinners more often than not because I love how deep the plates are and how easy they are to wash. The cups are a little on the small side but it's been encouraging me to drink less soda so I guess that's a plus. The saucers are a bit small, and the forks are on the flimsy side. Don't don't try to use the butter knives for cutting anything serious and you will be fine. The spoon shape and size is perfect. I'm picky about my spoons and these are just great. The chopsticks are a nice touch and I like that each flatware set has it's own individual and matching storage box. Toss them all out on the table and everyone just grabs a box on the way by.
