I wanted a larger computer monitor for my Mac mini setup, and this 43" Element 4K XUMO smart TV was priced at $138--a very good price for the size. I did not actually want any smart TV features, so I simply won't set them up. The TV seems to be fine with that. The picture is very bright, steady, and stable at 4K resolution and at 60Hz output from my desktop. It is wired directly via one of the three HDMI ports. The screen size is exactly correct, meaning, there is no noticeable cutoff at the top and bottom or sides. I have only had it for two weeks, so we will see how it performs over time. The viewing angle deteriorates a bit when viewed from around a 60-degree perspective. If the images displayed are dark, the screen is prone to washing out from brighter glare in the room. This I have noticed when viewing darker Netflix shows. I would not want to view this screen if it were placed opposite a window on a bright day: the glare would probably make it unwatchable. Overall the colors are pretty good. Blacks are good, even though they are weakest for LCDs generally. The oranges and reds seem slightly off, but my use does not require true-tone precision. I would recommend the set generally: it is a good value at that price. But I am not using it on a gaming rig and have not tested it at its advertised limit of 120 Hz. Your mileage may vary, as they say.
