i installed the unit 12k btu 115v last week, took about 4hrs. whisper quiet, peaks about 13A to turn on completely then runs around 6A runtime. Once it cools down the room only uses 1 -2 amps. Great little unit so far. i haven't tested in real extreme heat yet. it was 80F, pulled room down to 62F in about 30 min. You will need to supply your own mounting bolts, allen key, and of course vacuum pump and guage set. run Vacuum pump for about 40 min to pull out the moisture in the lines. i haven't tried the Wifi yet. Great buy. i suggest it.

Nice mini split

I worked for military in Iraq and Afghanistan. Have installed hundreds of mini splits. This one was typical of most. Install with one eighth of an inch of fall towards drain not level. Also place dryer sheets like Bounce or Gain over filters. Stock filters are worthless. The dryer sheets are cheap and do incredible job filtering air. Thermostat on mine is four(4) to eight(8) degrees off at all times. Have contacted manufacturer. Quick response. Still awaiting answer. Please know that these newer inverter models run continuously. They ramp up and down as required. Very cost effective but always slight drone sound in room.

After the unit was installed, it initially functioned normally. However, after a few weeks, it began leaking refrigerant from the compressor. Oil was also leaking internally and became visible on the exterior sheet metal. As a result, the unit stopped cooling the house. Additionally, Walmart sent two notifications about this issue to the third-party seller, Ktaxon. Despite this, there has been no response from Ktaxon after four weeks.
