Purchased because it was a great buy.

Purchased as a backup because it was on clearance at a great price. This appears (as we have not used the mixer) to be a good option for a beginner. The wife only uses a mixer a few times a year and the only reasons I purchased this was because our old plastic mixing bowls had seen better days. The bowls included are not high quality, but they are metal and won't melt (I don't think) like the plastic ones have if they are placed to close to the stove.
