STEM Light Trap, Attracts and Traps Flying Insects, Emits Soft Blue Light, [Includes Starter Kit with 1 Light Trap and 1 Cartridge]

I bought it for a fly problem that disappeared. I wasn't going to return it so I put it in my bedroom. It's collected five 1/16” size insects in the three weeks I've had it. I don't like the light. Some people might like a nightlight in the bedroom, though. The best thing about it is peace of mind. I go to sleep believing that if there is a flying insect in my bedroom, it will be attracted to the light and not me.

I purchased this brand as well as another brand, safer homes.. I had never used any type of plug-in light like this that would attract the bugs with these sticky paper to catch them so I wasn't sure which would work best but due to the price I went ahead and grabbed both they were the same price, this one only comes with the plug itself and then one sticky sheet which is front and back sticky.. the safer Holmes brand came with the plug and two sticky sheets although they're sticky sheets are only one-sided... I'm only writing this review to be honest this light did attract and catch one gnat, and the safer home brand caught 19! they were both plugged into my kitchen one on one side of the room one on the other both were plugged in at the same time and only for about 12 hours so far. so I'm giving this one two stars just because it did catch one that but I will not be repurchasing because the other brand seem to work better. this one definitely puts off a soft blue light as the description says and the other brand that I tried puts off more of a purplish black light color, similar to those that are in the bug zappers that we all used to have outside so maybe the bugs just like that color better I I'm not truly sure what made the difference but for whatever reason there was a difference I'm posting my pictures of each brand so you can see for yourself the difference.
