Dungeon and Dragons Starter Set

I did got this for me and my family, it comes with Beginners Rule Book, The Lost Mine of Phandelver, 6 dices, 5 pre-filled Characters Sheets, 1 Master-copy Character Sheet. And I bought Dungeon Master Guide, Players Handbook and A Monster Manual for $100. Plus if you need Character Sheets you can download them for free on the Dungeon and Dragons Website.

Great Item!!

My husband talked me into playing D&D, he even made me a character to play. I bought this to better understand the game. It came with a set of 7 high-quality dice, a rulebook and other goodies that make game play easier. I do wish it came with mini characters that matched the pre-written character sheets, but it doesn't. Thats ok, this set is great for a beginner.

Good Value for the Money

As far as the new system goes, I think this is pretty darn good...flexible and not overly complicated, but also not lacking in rules and charts and all of that other fun stuff D&D players like. It feels like Dungeons and Dragons to players of all previous editions. There isn't supposed to be a huge learning curve if you've already played D&D before. If you have played, this might not be for you. Better to purchase the new 5e books and really delve in.
