Chefman Rapid Boil 1.2L Electric Tea Kettle with Removable Lid - Stainless Steel

The water boils faster than putting a pot or kettle on the stove. Also, I don't like putting water into the microwave to boil. Not only is this faster, but I think its safer as it also turns off once the water has boiled, alleviating walking away and forgetting you're even boiling water.

I have purchased this one to replace an older one that I've had for about 6 yrs. I picked this one based on reviews, so now I'm adding my review. Initially I was looking for another full metal pitcher, but this one had great reviews and the price was good too. I do like the screen on the spout , helps ensure nothing falls into the water. And something I didn't consider until I purchased this, I like being able to see the water boil. Remember the old saying "A watched Pot never boils.", well this one does! LOL! My old pot used to take 3-5 minutes to boil, but this one boils in about 2-3 minutes. I mostly use this to boil water for Tea or sometimes Hot chocolate. If you're looking for a kettle, this is the one..... Just understand that you don't put anything in the pot to boil, only water and mix it in a regular pitcher.
