Superior TV inferior remote

Best features in plain terms: the picture is the real selling point — true blacks and excellent contrast since each pixel lights up on its own, and it's noticeably brighter than older LG OLEDs thanks to the evo panel. For gaming, every HDMI port supports 4K/120Hz, VRR, and ALLM, so it doesn't matter which port I plug a console or PC into. As an Apple user, it fits my setup well too — there's a proper Apple TV+ app built in and AirPlay 2, so I can mirror my iPhone or Mac straight to the screen without any extra hardware. The remote is where it falls short for me. It's the same Magic Remote LG has used for a couple of generations, and the pointer/cursor style takes some getting used to coming from Apple's simpler, button-based Siri Remote. The motion-pointer can feel imprecise at times, and I find myself reaching for my Apple TV remote or a universal remote for everyday use, only picking up LG's remote when I need to dig into TV-specific settings.
