First, thanks Walmart for having this on sale. Saved me 2/3 of the retail price, helping me make my kids smarter on a budget. I love this edition of Scrabble because of the real wood used in some of the accessories. I have had the edition with plastic tiles and racks, and this feels much better.

This is an all time favorite game. We played it when I was a kid and this time we wanted to see if it would help our 8 yr old with spelling . We have tried this method of spelling with the scrabble game and it does help. My sister suggested that we try it and it does seem to help.

I really like this board game. It has so many functions. Primarily brings the family together. Second, it helps children and adults to challenge themselves and expand their vocabulary but also executive functioning abilities like problems solving and decision making. Finally, it helps with dexterity and fine motor coordination. I just wish the board was better quality. It doesn't completely adjust to flat surfaces like our table as the folding makes it slightly uneven. But other than that, it's a great boardgame every hole should have
