Doesn't Work With Google Home Assistant

This specific model does not work with Google Home Assistant, even though instructions and packaging indicate that it does. This is a known issue with the manufacturer. Their support team was honest, telling me that they were working on a fix, but it wasn't coming quickly. The issue is with the Merkury Smart App and not the device. Older versions of this plug connect to other apps that will connect with Google Home.

NOT User Friendly - Too Difficult to Set Up

I set up a timed on-off schedule for my lamp. Never did work /work right. Very confusing app. I have lots of other electric plugs %26 lights that I've set up on timers and had no trouble. The app needs BIG improvements. I'm not a beginner when it comes to programming electric devices in my home, but this one is unbelievable. Walmart supposedly will not let me return it cuz it's after 3 months. Yes! 3 months, on %26 off, trying to set 'em up! Emailed back %26 forth with Merkury /Geeni, who sent links to help files. When I finally did a chat with techsters, they wanted to go step by step online with them, which would have taken hours! I've already spent HOURS ! Do not buy this product!

So it says on the package that they were on Clarence for eight dollars and with my delivery I had to pay $12 apiece so that I feel like somebody owes me eight more dollars because I got two of them for $12 a piece and the tag clearly says eight
