Coleman Trailhead™ II Camping Cot

This cot is very durable, and can hold a considerable weight. It packs very slim into a carrying case which comes with the cot. Easy to set-up, with some muscle required to pull the taunt bar in place the first few set-ups. We are replacing air mattresses (which never seem to last more than a year) with these cots for camping and extra company at home. We layer a sleeping bag and a down comforter as a "sleeping mat" on the cots. Great buy, especially for the price!

Just returned from six days of camping in Colorado mountains. Used the cot every night. Put the cot together two times. It is somewhat difficult to put in the second end piece in place but I I found that turning the cot on its side then pushing with feet against cot legs and pull the the end piece with arms it is easy to get the second end bar in place. To keep the steel cot legs from punching holes in tent floor I cut plastic sign board into 8"x8" sections and put under the legs. The canvas is very sturdy and did not sag at all. I highly recommend this cot. I received an outdoor gear catalog today and the same looking cot is advertised for $90+ plus shipping. I bought this one for $40 total using Walmart's ship to near store feature. blueklein in Houston, TX
