LEGO Disney Encanto The Madrigal House 43202 Building Kit; A Top Gift for Kids Who Love Construction Toys and House Play (587 Pieces)

This was a great purchase for our creative 4.5 year old grand daughter. (I also purchased a set of small Encanto characters for her little sister to play with and the seem to be a good match for extra characters for the house even though they are not Lego, you might see those in the pictures but did not come with the set.) I truly expected to help her a lot because it said ages 6 plus but she learned to follow the easy step-by-step, page-by-page instructions and was able to pick out the pieces one bag at a time. She put it together with adult supervision over several 30 min to 1 hour sessions and was a fun project for all. I mostly watched her and chatted with her while she did the building. She would wake up in the morning and her first words were "Lets work on our Encanto house! " Our set held together well and was a beautiful first lego project for us. I highly recommend for creative kids that know their numbers and colors and for those that have good fine motor skills. This project should be adult supervised for the younger child as I was worried a small part might get lost. She wanted to open all the bags at once but thankfully she listened to advice given. During breaks she played with her project talking to the characters. We had no missing pieces and several extra duplicate pieces including the clock that one of the character holds. I am extremely happy with this purchase and looking forward to more like this. Only suggestion would be to have more characters but maybe they will come in future sets? I hope the Lego team adds more building projects for Encanto. Thank you! from a happy Grandma
