This Apple Pencil product is the ********* updated version that comes bundled with the USB-C adapter for better compatibility with updated iPad models (in my case, it works with my iPad 11th gen A16 model.) The description on the product page doesn't seem to make this clear. The 1st gen pencil still holds up well and unlike the only other compatible option for the A16 iPad (Apple Pencil USB-C) offers pressure sensitivity, making it ideal for detailed art.
