This is the third one of this brand I have purchased. I now have 2 of this size, and one smaller one. I've used the larger one to carry frozen meat with freezer packs and bags of ice for 2 full days, and the meat stayed solidly frozen the entire time. I did drain some water and add another bag of ice beginning of the 2nd day. I had placed freezer packs on the bottom, the meat on top, and filled it with more freezer packs and ice. The cooler was in the back of my SUV the entire two days, only opened the one time to add ice. We've also used the large one for camping trips, even opening more often, we have not had issues with keeping things cold. The smaller one is great for day trips. The larger one has also saved us a few times when the fridge has quit working.
