Computer performs great. It looks great as well. It is able to play games really well. I played Doom Dark Ages and other game pass games and it performed well. The computer does not overheat and is not loud with fan noise. The screen is bright and has a high refresh rate. The only weak spot is that the laptop charger cannot keep battery level stable when playing on high settings. Laptop uses more power faster than it can recharge. So if you want to play at highest settings for several hours the battery will slowly discharge. So technically after several hours , the computer would have to switch to less power consuming mode. So when I played Doom Dark Ages, the battery lost about 5% of battery charge every hour of play when plugged in. Not that big a deal for me. Walmart prices were awesome for this computer over the holidays. If you can get similar discount, you will be very happy with this computer.

Great Budget Gaming Laptop

This is a great gaming budget laptop if you can get it for $799, the price I paid. Got this as a holiday gift to myself and happy I did. I plays games occasional and do video editing. So far it's been a champ at doing both. I have only played a Ghost Recon game that is many years old via steam and done basic video edits. The screen is nice and crisp. The new battery life is just ok. I'd give it a few hours if you are doing basic stuff. Any video editing it drains quickly which isn't too surprising. I do plan to upgrade the RAM to the listed 32gb it says it can handle. You can get the AMD 7 chip at another retailer for $50 more. I decided to save a little money and go with the Intel chip. I checked around for awhile since I wanted at least 1TB HD and had GPU. Again good deal from WM on this laptop.
