Light-Up Blue Battery-Operated Flocked Star Christmas Hanging Decoration, 17", by Holiday Time

Saw these and took a chance. The ones at Ikea are always sold out during the holidays. I actually loved these more! I purchased both sizes in the blue and white flocked. They are a thick card stock. The blue has silver flecks, while the white has gold. To open the battery pack, you must slide it and not try to pry it open from the top. Once you open the star, you simply slide the light insert into each of the legs, push the battery pack inside and pull the string closed. As an alternative, you could even use the mini wire battery pack lights that twinkle or another small rechargeable light source. There is an off, timer, and on button on the battery pack. I turned mine to timer so it comes on nightly without having to turn it off. They are very beautiful hanging solo, as a trio or more. Maybe next year they will do more colors and an even larger size!
