We put these outside of the doors of our apartment building. They work so well that we bought more sets. We noticed that there was great area lighting when activated. I bought these on sale so I had to buy another pair. They are awesome and so easy to install. There is a button on the back that you have to push so that they will work, but of course you have to have them in the sunshine for at least a day I would think!! My experience with solar lights they are not lasting, but for the price and for the quality you will not go wrong purchasing this item. I guarantee it. I'm 70 years old and I was able to install it on my fence.!!!

Not As Bright As Expected

I was expecting much brighter light. I did cycle through all of the light settings and still not feeling good about the purchase. I'm going to keep them since I already recycled the packages they came in. I also got these at a very good discount so the price also gives me a reason to keep them. I do have this style light from a different manufacturer. Those are super bright and better quality constructed.
