I was surprised how well this device works. I was skeptical that an open ear / conducting device would work for me while bike riding in city traffic, but it's better than I thought it would be. The sound is good, but doesn't get too loud, which is what I was going for because I need to be able to hear traffic sounds while riding. They include ear plugs in the package, and I was astounded by how good the headphones sounded when those ear plugs were inserted. I don't use them that way very much, but I'm glad I tried it. I definitely recommend these to folks who want something to wear while biking or walking around in the city where they need to be aware of traffic noise or whatever.
