I keep this about 25 ft from my kitchen. If i light a candle, cook bacon, or anything with a scent... it detects it... drops the air rating... then amps itself up to remedy the smell and air contamination. I keep it near my t-shirt heat press and it does help with no doubt with the smells coming off the press while using. It doesnt make a noise unless it is working hard. Even then, to me... the sound isn't annoying.

Only time will tell…

Just got this, easy set up. So far it's doing its job, my husband is having respiratory issues, I set this up yesterday and he seems to be a little more comfortable, too early to tell but I will update this in about a month to see how the filter is working out.
