On delivery with a low battery, it started easily with the rope and then charged promptly.
I see a port for external charging but I'm not sure with what charger it would be compatible or if I can use any trickle charger?

i havent unboxed it yet,but be careful of shipping because the company that delivered mine left it sit down on county road about 300 ft from my house i was gone came home and found it anybody could have stolen it ,i live 6 miles out in country without any neighbors in sight,i didnt know when it was delivered.if i hadnt been gone it could have sat there until somebody stole it' most likely.

Assembly would have been easy, but the wheel mounting bracket was only welded on one side. When the generator was placed on the ground the wheel bent inwards at the top bending the braket. I took the wheel off and discovered the missing weld. Luckily I have a welder and was able to weld the bracket back on.
Otherwise , it seems to be worth the money, just need to improve the manufacturing process and inspections .
