Okay, I got this vacuum last week, and yesterday I finally put it together, and I used it today. Let me tell you this: the vacuum I had prior was a whole-house Bissell Rewind vacuum. Granted, I've had that vacuum for probably about 9, 10 years now, but it never really worked well at picking up pet hair and all of that. I vacuumed yesterday with my old vacuum, and then I vacuumed just 5 minutes ago. The amount of hair that was still left over from my other vacuum cleaner was completely shocking. The amount that this new vacuum cleaner pulled up, I had to empty the tray twice because it still picked up so well that it literally filled the container twice. I live in a small studio apartment that is maybe the size of a master bedroom within a house, and I have no closets. For this vacuum to pick up that much from me vacuuming with the other vacuum, I am so in love with this vacuum. The other thing I like is that my other vacuum was extremely heavy. When I first started vacuuming with this vacuum, I was so used to the drag and pull back, where you have to kind of use muscle to do it. I pulled like I had to with my other one and accidentally lifted the whole vacuum. Needless to say, this vacuum is very, very light, and I love that. It's powerful. It picks up things that my other vacuum just did not and would not. Also, when you're going back and forth, you can tell that it has an automatic glide. I don't know what it's called, but when you push it forward and you just barely pull back, it will come back to you fairly easily without you having to use a lot of muscle to move it back and forth. That is very nice too. Also, I am an absolute big fan of the cord rewind. I like the fact that, instead of having to constantly wrap it, I just step on the little pedal, and it pulls in the cord, and I don't have to do any wrapping. I absolutely love that. I had it with my old vacuum, and one of my major things about looking for a new vacuum was having that cord rewind. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with this vacuum. It is a great vacuum, and the price of it is absolutely amazing for how powerful and great this vacuum is.
